Responsible Pet Program

The children recently had a visit from the responsible pet program to learn about responsible pet ownership.

All the children took a great interest in what was said and carefully followed the instructions they were given.

We learnt the right way to approach a dog we don’t know and learnt that we must always ask its owner before patting the dog.

Owning a pet is a big responsibility and one the children now understand. The children were excited to put their new found skills to use on one of our families pet dogs that visited for afternoon pickup, taking turns to pat the dog and take it for a walk using its leash.
